Thank you all so much for the warm reception of the Fringe pattern! Fringe dresses and blouses have started to pop up on social media and I’m loving your creations. If you haven’t grabbed your copy yet, you can purchase it in the Chalk and Notch shop HERE, in the Chalk and Notch ETSY store or on the UpCraft Club site.

Releasing a pattern takes a lot of work and in my case, a global sewing community! I have an awesome team: Emily of Enjoyful Makes, Thao of Little Cumquat and Leslie of Threadbear Garments. They are a constant source of support and I could not imagine doing this without them. We chat every day, and more than anything, their friendship means so much to me. I only wish I had a legit office space where we could all work and sew together, every day!

Emi, of Just Add Fabric, is a huge part of the Chalk and Notch team. She copy edits all of my patterns and is a fantastic tester. I have things that I am good at, but spelling and grammar are not among them. Having Emi on my team has been such a pleasure, but you all already know that, since she’s friends with everyone. She’s kind, supportive and the queen of grammar!

I also consider Jill of Kneesocks and Goldilocks part of my team; in fact, I consider Jill and her husband part of the team. Their stunning garments and photos are jaw dropping! They are also the nicest people and I’m so happy to call them friends!

In addition to the support team around Chalk and Notch, I get to work with a group of testers from around the world. My goal is to host a pleasant testing experience. Time and fabric are precious commodities and I try not to take that for granted. In total, we had 42 ladies in our test group. They all did an awesome job and I think this group gave me the most detailed feedback I have ever received. It was such a pleasure to work with them. During release week, 23 of the testers wrote a blog post about their test version. To be clear, blogging is not a requirement of testing and I’m so thankful for their support of this pattern.

If you’d like to be inspired, grab a beverage and enjoy all of these amazing Fringe versions by some of my very favorite people!
