I have always been lucky to work with so many wonderful testers that work really hard to help improve my patterns and I love receiving a variety of feedback to make a really great pattern. Luckily, the test for the Cascade Maxi ended up being really fun and easy! Sample after sample that was posted was awesome. I loved the fabric combinations and trims my testers came up with. All of my testers were so professional and such a pleasure to work with. Thanking them never feels like enough! Today I do want to thank them and show you ALL of their versions, it’s pretty impressive to see them together!
I tried something different for this test and split up the testers in phases. I started with view A, made corrections before proceeding to view B then made final corrections for a final group testers. Testers were required to make one sample and complete a survey and had about 5 days to complete their phase of the test. Everyone was great about working together and sending in comments so we could move on to the next group. Many testers made more than one sample and I think this pattern is addictive like that.
As you can see, it takes a lot of people and a lot of work to bring you a pattern. I am proud of how it turned out and so grateful to all of these ladies for helping me.
So here you have it – loads of Cascade Maxi Dress in different fabrics and fabric combinations from the best testers around! As a reminder, the pattern is offered in sizes 2 to 12 years, and is intended for lightweight woven fabrics. You can purchase the Cascade Maxi pattern HERE.
