Any pattern designer will tell you that you need good testers – people who will sew your garment and give you valuable feedback. I had some returning testers as well as new testers and it was such a great group! I’m so excited to get to show you their makes today and thank them for all of their hard work.
I started with a small group of pre-testers before moving on to a larger group, and I loved how that worked. A huge thanks to these ladies who helped me from the beginning: Andreia, Emi, Esther, Melissa, Rita & Mie. They made sure most of the fit issues were sorted out before the main test and were so encouraging along the way.
The main test was a large and active group which felt really fun and collaborative. The test went really well and everyone gave me lots of feedback and some testers sewed up more than one Top Knot. A huge thanks to all of the ladies who worked so hard and helped me bring you this pattern.
I also want to give a special thanks to Mie who has been my construction expert (not that I gave her much choice in the matter!), as well as Emi and Lucinda who are amazing copy editors and have been a great support to me since I started.
As you can see, it takes a lot of people and a lot of work to bring you a pattern. I am proud of how it turned out and so grateful to all of these ladies for helping me.
So here you have it – loads of Top Knot Rompers, Dresses & Tunics in different fabrics and fabric combinations. As a reminder, the pattern is offered in 18-24 months to 12 years, and is intended for lightweight woven fabrics. You can click on each photo and check out each tester’s Blog or Instagram feed if they have one. Enjoy!

7 years agoYou are a pleasure to help…even though I keep saying that you don’t need help. But sparing and bouncing off ideas is always nice, right! So many beautiful versions above! Congrats on another great pattern!
