19. SEW THE BODICE SHOULDER SEAMS | TANK VIEW ONLY

With the right sides together, sew the front and back main bodice pieces at the shoulder seams to sew the tank view. Repeat for the lining. Press the seams open.

20. SEW THE NECKLINE | TANK VIEW ONLY

With the right sides together, pin the main and lining bodice together at the neckline, matching the shoulder seams.

Sew the neckline. Start and stop your seam 2" (5 cm) from the center back edge.

Sew a second pass at the center front to reinforce the center front V.

Trim the seam allowance to half and clip the center front, careful not to cut through any stitching.

21. UNDERSTITCH THE NECKLINE | TANK VIEW ONLY

Open the neckline and press the seam allowance towards the lining. Understitch by stitching a line 1/16" (0.15 cm) away from the seam on the neck lining. Make sure to catch the seam allowance towards the lining when stitching. Stop 3/4" (2 cm) away from where you finished sewing the neckline.

Turn the bodice right side out and press.

22. CLEAN FINISH THE ARMHOLE | TANK VIEW ONLY

With the right sides together, pin the armholes, matching the shoulder seams. Sew the armholes.

Trim the seam allowance to half.

Reach inside the front bodice and pull the back bodice pieces right side out carefully through the straps.

Turn the bodice right side out and press.

23. SEW THE SIDE SEAMS | TANK VIEW ONLY

With the right sides together, sew the side seams. Sew a continuous seam from the lining to the main. Press the seam allowance open. Turn the bodice right side out and press.

Press the seam allowance open.
