Chalk and Notch patterns updated size range is from 0-30 with two bust cup options, A/B & C/D. Older patterns are offered in sizes 0-18 in one bust cup, A/B. Patterns will continue to be updated until all women’s patterns are available in our new size range. Check each pattern listing for body measurements and finished garments measurements.

Sewing bust cup size is not the same as your ready to wear bust cup size. The Chlak and Notch cup size is determined by calculating the difference between the high bust and full bust. If the difference between your high bust and full bust is between 0” and 2” (5 cm), use the A/B cup. If the difference is between 2” (5 cm) and 4” (10 cm), use the C/D cup.

Chalk and Notch patterns are designed for a height of around 5’7″ (174 cm). The fit models are all over 5’7″ (174 cm), but all of the Chalk and Notch patterns are tested on a range of heights and our fitting posts can help determine how much and where you may need to adjust.
