ADD BUTTONS OR SNAPS TO THE CENTER FRONT

Try on the jacket to mark the buttonholes/snaps before sewing. The center front is 5/8″ (1.5 cm) from the front edge.

Buttonhole/snap placement is marked on the Den Jacket.

The pattern is designed for 1/2″ (12.7 mm) buttons to fit between the first two rows of topstitching. You will want a button at the full bust and then spaced evenly, anywhere between 2.375″ (6 cm) to 3.5″ (9 cm) down the center front.

Snaps are shown attached to the Den Jacket.

Use fray check before opening the buttonholes.
